Back Again

I finally went riding again this morning, after a couple of weeks down and out with a bad cold (thank goodness for the Take Care Clinic at Walgreens).

The morning started slow, and I did not have much time to get out of the house. I dislike rushing, but I rarely get the truck so I don’t get to mountain bike before work, so I grabbed my bike and my gear as quickly as I could.

Haiku D’Etat helped me wake up after dropping the gf off at work and The Sleigh Bells got me to work after pedailing around Papago for a while.

The ride was cool. I plan to be out on a trail on 2 wheels tomorrow morning, too.

Peace

Couch Time

Things at Paragon Cycling are going great. I get to work on bikes every day and I am learning new things all the time.

Personally, things are good, too. My friends and family are well. And am lucky to have such an amazing partner to be spending my life with. I am so happy that she is here.

I have been fighting a head cold for a couple of weeks, so unfortunately I haven’t done any riding. Over the last couple of weeks, I did discover my next bicycle. It’s the Raleigh Furley and I cannot wait to get it. I am excited about the idea of trying some cyclocross races this coming season. Speaking of which, I read a couple of great articles over at Cyclorcross Magazine Online by The Girl With The Cowbell Tattoo. I’m working on my stoke, but I am feeling pent up after sitting on the couch for the last couple of weeks. This head cold has got to stop. I’ve gotta get out on a bike.
